The Thai Restaurant Association has asked Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul to expand Thais Help Thais Plus eligibility after small VAT-registered restaurants reported sharp customer losses.
Egg prices in Thailand have increased by 20 satang per egg from 8 June as layer farmers face higher maize and animal feed costs, although producers say actual selling prices remain below the recommended farm-gate ceiling.
